Post subject: fitting droplink rods

heyall, had the c2 to citroen today for a knocking noise from the front suspension, they said my droplinks need replacing but wont do it under warrenty as its been lowered
anyway ive found these on the link below and was wanting to know off you guys if there simple to fit, should be just a simple get the wheel off and bolt straight in or am i wrong? i wont need to remove the shocks or anything will i
any help will be brill folk

no mate, just remove the wheel and take the link off with a spanner and a torque/alan key.
but if it was a knocking noise i should think your suspension ball joint is knacked, the ball joint at the botton of the strut.

oh they told me its new droplinks i need, only the passanger side is knocking atm but they said the driver side ill go any time soon..
i hope its them because ive orded some

fitted them today 
easiest job ive done on the car tbh
my oringinal one snaped

Hi, i think i've got the same problem, a knocking noise when going over bumps and when the wheels are unlevel, just wondering if the new drop links sorted the problem out? if they did i'll order some, any help much appreciated thanks.

posted earlier, i went to a parts place got the drop links and fitted them cost £20 but i didnt wanna wait for delivery of ebay so would be cheaper and took bout an hour to fit em, noise has gone, easy cheap fix, a first for citroen haha
